Good morning (or insert the correct term for the time you’re reading this.) Sleuths. I just finished a terrific novelette (roughly 73 pages) called The Case of the Tabloid Tattler. It’s the first in a series by Perry Elizabeth Kirkpatrick called The Kitten Files. The story opens in the office of a Detective named Keith, who is about to find out he’s adopted a very special cat. When the cat jumps on his desk, takes his pen and starts writing (yes I said writing) the two formulate a plan to help hi client figure out who’s been leaking her private life to the tabloids. Full of wonderful humor and very engaging characters I happily give this book a solid five out of five Sherlocks.
